Kukunaokalā - ray of the sun

A child being removed from their home and placed in the care of strangers can be a dark time in a family's life. The Kukunaokalā Project strives to bring sunshine to these difficult circumstances by providing a bag of basic necessities and fun goodies to keiki (children).

In Hawaii, there were over 1,700 keiki in foster care in 2020. We, at Mixed Plate Ohana, don't currently have the capacity to serve ALL of those keiki. However, with YOUR help, we do have the capacity to serve SOME of those keiki! And, some is better than none, right?!
